An extender is a product that when added to a water based paint, glaze or medium slows the drying time. This chemical is added in a small amount to most paints and glazes to enable the user to work with the paint and yet have it dry in a reasonable time. If more time is needed for manipulation of a glaze or paint, then adding you own small amount of extender helps keep the paint from drying fast. A little bit goes a long way. Generation Green Extender is pure and strong, it is not watered down and will retard drying time by just adding a few drops to your paint, stain, varnishes, glazes, gel medium and any other water based product.


Directions for Use:

Add a small amount to any water based medium that needs more open time. 
Mix well into medium. Start with a small amount and test for drying time.
